Comanche

I got a chance to wash and clean my babies for some quick shots.  Here is Comanche all shiny.  Comanche has finally started to show the weightloss in order to help his joints.  If the joint fuses itself, I will be able to put some weight back on him and hope that he is sound again.  At least that is what Dr. Chatham believes.

Comanche went off to Miller Ranch for training following several falls & inconsistent behavior at home. He came home a month later when deemed unsafe to ride by the vet & chiropractor. While at Miller Ranch he had quite a fall out on a trail as a pack horse with just 130lbs on him. The chiro & vet suggested a year’s healing from whatever he may be suffering from. They recommend getting a bone scan done but CJR can’t quite afford that right now. So, he’s a beautiful pasture ornament for now. Check out these gorgeous shots taken on May 18th, 2009.

Comanche is looking stronger and putting on weight.  Muscles are building up i the hindquarters and we’ve started trail riding to help build some muscle.
